Meet Lee Matejka, drummer for the Twin Cities-based rock band, REDLINE. The band consists of four members: George Dziki ; Guitar and Vocals, Bret Johnson ; Guitar and Vocals, Lee Matejka ; Drums, Keyboards and Vocals and Bruce Matejka ; Bass Guitar |
These guys really know how to rock! They play tunes from many of the great Classic Rock bands of all time, such as Pink Floyd, Kiss, Ted Nugent, Styx, Aerosmith and Black Sabbath, as well as current hits from groups like 3 Doors Down, Nickleback, Collective Soul, Incubus, Lit and Lenny kravitz. Redline has been kickin' out the jams since 1995. They do the bar scene, night clubs, outdoor festivals and biker events. Their main goal as a band, to quote Lee, "is to make sure that everyone who comes out to see us has as much fun as we do." When Lee Matejka is on stage, he surrounds his drum set with black lights. Lee's T-shirt of choice - Fluorescent Works! Check out Redline the next time you're in Minneapolis/St. Paul. For band info., send Lee an e-mail. Just make Redline the subject. COSMIC BOWLING One of our customers, Cathy, from the suburbs of Indianapolis, Indiana, took her daughter, Ariana, along with a bunch of Ariana's friends, to go cosmic bowling to celebrate Ariana's 13th birthday. So what, exactly, is "cosmic bowling?" As Cathy explains it, "It is where they have black lights on the bowling alleys and glow-in-the-dark bowling balls." To wear for the occasion, Cathy got her daughter and her daughter's friends our all-fluorescent / neon T-shirts. |

In this scene, some of Ariana's friends are preparing to ambush her with silly spray
string in the parking lot of the bowling alley. |

Shawnee Mission North High School's Track and Field
Team Three time Track and Field medalists, juniors Storm Simons and Chelsea Kiefer, practice perfecting their hurdling technique. These two hurdlers from Shawnee Mission North High School, in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, near Kansas City, have run at the Kansas State Track Meet all three of their years in high school. They plan to continue this tradition with a repeat performance in their senior year, '08-'09. Their coach, Kaye Frisbie, keeps her winning track and field team supplied with our all-fluorescent / neon T-shirts. "Some of our juniors and seniors who made it to the state track meet in the past still wear their pink shirts we printed up for them the last two years. The color is still quite vibrant, which speaks highly of the quality of product you put out." - Kaye Frisbie |

The Pacific Grove High School Breaker Girls dance group has won the California State Championship for the last four years (2005 - 2008) and are loved in their community. "This year, for our homecoming rally, we ordered neon pink T-shirts from Fluorescent Works and they were a great success! They looked so vibrant throughout the whole rally and throughout the routine!" - Natalie S. |

The 6th grade class at Bath Elementary School, from
Bath, North Carolina, was chosen to participate in "Steppin' Out," a performing arts show sponsored by the Beaufort County Education Foundation and Beaufort County Schools. Their choreographer chose fluorescent (neon) T-shirts, from Fluorescent Works, and blue jeans as the costume. "We wanted to portray joy and energy as we danced and sang to, 'You Can't Stop the Beat,' from 'Hairspray." The photos, above, show some of the students while they were waiting their turn to perform. |
