"Cactus
Scene was a gift to my ex-wife, back when we were still
married. In a bizarre twist of fate, it was destroyed in a house fire that started by accident and burned her out of her home, my former residence - on the very day I re-married!" - Alan Cactus Scene lives on as a T-shirt! It's titled "S.W. U.S.A.". |

ARTIST
BIO: Born
in 1957, Alan Stricof grew up in the Detroit suburb of Oak
Park. He graduated
from Oakland University, in Rochester, Michigan, in 1980 with a
Bachelor
of Arts degree and a teaching certificate. Alan has taught
Spanish and
French and has also done translation work. He is the creator
of the
educational, foreign language game, Battling Interpreters,
published and marketed by Teacher's Discovery, of Auburn Hills,
Michigan.
Alan's first fluorescent paintings date back to his senior year of high school - 1976. He moved to Colorado after graduating from college. A number of Denver-area art galleries have hosted his, "Purple Haze," black light art show. In 1992, Alan started Fluorescent Works with his own pre-print line of wearable, black light art T-shirts. As the resident artist here, he also does original, custom art work for our customers. Alan Stricof, all rights reserved |
